After years of medicating myself on lithium Ivor browne took me off it in 1993 and started me on a journey of self-discovery and inner healing which is still continuing today.
My life is finally coming together and I am starting to fulfill my dreams.
None of this would have been possible if I hadn't received the support, therapy and agreement from Ivor Browne that I wasn't mad in those early years of my therapy.

Have just finished reading this book and I have to say it has been an absolutely fascinating read. Not only is it an autobiography of a man who has led a full life doing the work of 3 full time jobs at one stage as he says himself, the reader is given an insight into his personal thoughts on many areas particularly on his thinking on current psychiatric practices. I have known his views on these for a number of years but I found the last few chapters to be the most interesting in which he talks about the possibilities of past life experiences and his views on consciousness. This book definitely gives the reader lots to think about whether they have any interest in psychiatry or psychotherapy or not.
