Beautiful Day covers Arclight by The Fat Lady Sings for 1989. The Fat Lady Sings re-assembled during the week of April 4th 2005 for the first time in more than a dozen years. The purpose was to rehearse for a one-off show in Vicar Street on Friday, April 8th, by way of a prelude to the launch later in April of a two cd retrospective by the band, The Fat Lady Singles And Opera Obscura. Nick Kelly has recently released Running Dog which is the long-awaited follow-up to his first solo album Between Trapezes
