'Silversong' has a descending piano motif and cello before a lilting, almost wistfully romantic lead vocal. This song combines the folk aspects with a slight progressive rock feeling in its chord changes and electric guitar counter melodies. It even reminds a little of the structures used in Pink Floyd's mid seventies work.
