The Divine Comedy are to play an instore gig at HMV on Grafton Street at 1pm this Friday, 16 June.
The band will also be signing copies of their new album 'Victory for the Comic Muse', which goes on release that day.
Featuring 11 songs, this is Divine Comedy's first release since 2004's 'Absent Friends'.
Frontman Neil Hannon has been writing songs for artists including Jane Birkin and Charlotte Gainsbourg and also contributing the theme tune to Channel 4's recent comedy show 'The IT Crowd'.
The album is available on standard CD as well as a Special Edition CD and DVD, featuring a making of the album documentary.
Entry to the show will be by wristband only. These can be acquired free from HMV Grafton Street on a first come, first served basis on Friday morning.
