ASLAN were back in town on Easter Saturday, April 15, for another great night of live music at 10 John Street. As Christy said to a packed audience on his last visit to TEN, Waterford has always been great to the band over the years and they absolutely love playing here. This Bank Holiday Weekend show is sure to have their legion of fans out once again to sing along to some of the most popular songs ever recorded by an Irish band, including latest single “Fall On Me” which is just as strong as their numerous hits to date. In 2005 Aslan were recognised as Ireland’s most popular band with the presentation of the “Lifetime Achieve -ment” Award at The Meteors. Their “Platinum” CD set was one of the biggest selling albums of last year and was a brilliant collection of all their own great songs and some brilliant cover versions they have recorded over the years. They ended the year in style with another sell-out show at the 8,000 capacity Point Theatre and have just sold out another 3 nights at Vicar Street earlier this month. Now Christy, Tony, Alan, Billy and Joe are all set for another great gig at TEN as Aslan are on the rise again.
